Our story

Drawn from memory.

Some places stay with you long after you leave: the quad where you met your oldest friends, the course where you finally broke 80, the main street you walked every summer. Places in Ink began with a simple idea. Those places deserve better than a postcard.

Each of our books is devoted to a single place and drawn in fine, detailed pen and ink, so the hour you spend coloring feels like a walk back through it. We make them for grown-ups who want something more thoughtful than cartoons and mandalas, and something that means more.

We're starting with the College Town Collection, and Chapel Hill is first. Famous golf courses, national parks, and small towns are already in the sketchbook.
